The introduction of the Xtreme 125R has helped Hero grow in the 125 cc commuter motorcycle space.

2024 seems to be a pretty positive year for Hero MotoCorp so far, as the company's profit rose 36 per cent. The company earned ₹1132.63 crore profit in Q1, rising from ₹824.72 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year. The growth can be attributed to recovery in the rural sector and new products that have arrived this year.

It is also the first time Hero's revenue has crossed the ₹10,000 crore mark. The company’s revenue for the quarter's operations stands at ₹10,144 crores, rising from ₹8767 crores, marking a 16 per cent growth.

Hero’s Xtreme 125R has been quite a success. It offers the 125 cc commuter buyer a new sporty edge as well as something aspirational. We had enjoyed our time with the small commuter when we rode it at Hero CIT, and even when we compared it with the TVS Raider 125, things were pretty much even Stevens.

On the other hand, the Mavrick 440 is Hero's largest bike to date and probably one of the nicest chill motorcycles to ride. It might not have wow features or looks but it comes in at a pretty competent pricing.

To add to these two new bikes, Hero will be launching a couple of new products, including the Destini 125 scooter. There is also likely to be a more affordable version of the Vida V1 in the works slated for a launch this year. More on this soon.
