With the latest update, the Vida VX2 range now comprises VX2 Go 2.2kWh, VX2 Go 3.4kWh, and VX2 Plus variants.
Hero MotoCorp has launched a new variant of the Vida VX2 Go. Priced at ₹1.02 lakh (ex-showroom), this variant now comes with a 3.4 kWh battery pack. Previously, the VX2 Go was offered only with a 2.2 kWh battery, while the larger 3.4kWh unit was limited to the VX2 Plus. This new variant will be available across all Vida showrooms from this month onwards.
Although design and features of the Vida VX2 remain unchanged, the bigger battery pack has resulted in more range added to the tank. This new variant comes with a dual removable battery setup with a combined capacity of 3.4 kWh that can return a range of 100 km on a single charge. Meanwhile, the 2.2kWh variant accommodates only a single battery that is good enough for 64 km on a full charge.
Motor specs of the Vida V2 remain unchanged. Power is derived from a 6 kW electric motor producing 26 Nm of torque. There are two ride modes on offer — Eco and Ride — with a top speed of 70 kmph in the latter.

In terms of features, the Vida VX2 Go offers a 4.3-inch digital instrument panel, a flat floorboard, a long seat, a 27-litre boot space, smartphone connectivity through the My VIDA app that allow navigation, music control, and call alerts, regenerative braking, and LED headlights and taillights.
Moreover, the new variant is positioned between the VX2 Go 2.2 kWh (priced from ₹85,000) and the VX2 Plus (from ₹1.10 lakh). Customers can also choose the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, which lowers the scooter’s upfront price to ₹60,000, accompanied by a monthly battery subscription fee of ₹0.90 per kilometre.
