Hero’s 440 cc Naked Might Cause A Hurikan

A storm of products are brewing at Hero MotoCorp with the likes of the Karizma XMR 210 and Xoom 110 already showcasing the growth the manufacturer has shown in 2023. But it isn’t done yet. Hero’s grand plans involve a large capacity naked, in the 400-450cc class, which is currently dominated by the KTM 390 Duke. Hence, the whirlwind might be coming in the form of the Hero Hurikan 440.

Yep, Hero has trademarked the terms ‘Hurikan’ and ‘Hurikan 440’ in the past couple of months. Not surprising considering the Hero naked has been spotted on test quite a few times in the past. And given that just the Hurikan name is also applied and approved, the chances of smaller or larger capacity bikes in the future also remain open.

The Hurikan 440 is expected to arrive by the end of this fiscal year, i.e. before March 2024. Not only will it be more technologically advanced and more powerful than the Harley-Davidson X440 but we think it might also have the capabilities to give the 390 Duke and more importantly, the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400 a good run for their money.
