It seems to have taken inspiration from the Honda X-ADV and ADV150 maxi-scooters
Just last week we had mentioned that Hero was preparing for an onslaught of new two-wheelers to be showcased at EICMA 2023, amongst which is going to be a maxi-scooter. The latest teaser reveals a bit more of the same as it looks a bit rugged to take on a little more than just tarmac.

Yep, Hero is building an adventure-ish maxi-scooter, just like we’ve seen its previous partner Honda do with the X-ADV and the ADV150. The key thing to note is that both of the Honda scooters aren’t meant for proper off-roading, but like a little soft roading shouldn’t be a bother. The same is expected of the Hero product.

Also, could this be the ‘Xude’ as Hero has trademarked the name a few months ago. In the teaser, Hero continues its affinity with the X letter, stating stuff like ‘X-plore,’ ‘X-cite,’ and ‘X-perience.’ While that isn’t much to go on, the further details like a pronounced short tall-rise beak, chunky block pattern tyres and the caption “SUV on 2 Wheels” further signals that this could be something to take on the more treacherous roads that we have in our country.

Plus, the engine has a radiator, which means it will be larger than the usual 125cc mill. It might even be a 200 cc or 300 cc motor. Considering Hero has global ambitions, this could very well be the latter, as 300 cc maxi-scooters do rule the roost in Europe. And finally, the scooter will come with keyless ignition and remote boot unlock.

We don’t have to wait for much for the new Hero maxi-scooter as it will be revealed tomorrow at 8:30 pm onwards.
