Honda dealers across India have begun offering discounts of up to ₹1,000-₹2,000 on the Activa 110 and Activa 125 scooters. These discounts are provided at the dealership level, and the benefits of scooter accessories are available.
With the introduction of the TVS Jupiter 110, which commands a lower price and is far better equipped than the Honda Activa, dealers fear a drop in showroom visits. The discount offer is expected to last for a few weeks, or at least until the festive season.
This competitive shift in the scooter market is expected to intensify in the coming weeks, potentially reshaping consumer preferences in the 110cc segment. As for the discounts, while Honda dealers in Delhi are offering discounts of up to 10 per cent on the accessories, in Pune, the same accessories are available with a 40 per cent discount, and in Bengaluru, accessories of both the Honda Activa 110 and Activa 125 are available with discounts up to 20 per cent.
The Honda Activa 110 is currently priced from ₹76,684 to ₹82,684 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which feels quite pricey compared to the newly launched TVS Jupiter 110 which is priced from ₹73,700 to ₹87,250 (ex-showroom, India).
