This discontinuation is likely due to low sales.
Honda India has discontinued the CD 110 Dream after being in production for the past 11 years. While Honda has not made any official announcement, the brand has silently delisted the commuter bike from its official website. This might have been primarily due to diminishing sales, wherein in February 2025 Honda sold just 1 unit. Matters did improve the next month with sales of 33 units, but in April Honda couldn’t even sell a single unit.
Originally priced at ₹42,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the CD 110 Dream once held the title of Honda India's most affordable motorcycle. However, Honda's 2023 launch of the Shine 100 took that title as it offered a more contemporary style and modern features.
While this discontinuation shouldn’t affect Honda’s sales for it has been maintaining a strong presence in India's entry-level segment. The Japanese brand even managed to oust its erstwhile partner, Hero MotoCorp, by selling 1,75,490 more two-wheelers in April 2025. The majority of the sale came primarily from its entry-level commuter bikes which includes the likes of the Shine 100, Shine 125, SP 125, SP160, Livo, and Unicorn.
The CD 110 Dream was powered by a 109.51 cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 8.79 bhp and 9.30 Nm. Its straightforward design and comfortable riding position matched typical small-capacity commuters, whilst regular updates kept it emission-compliant throughout its lifespan. However, its withdrawal reflects broader market shifts wherein buyers are increasingly favouring motorcycles with updated technology and design.
