Both special editions of Honda Dio 125 and Shine 125 models remain mechanically unchanged.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched special edition models for the Shine 125 and Dio 125. Called the Shine 125 Limited Edition and Dio 125 X-Edition, both models receive subtle visual enhancements targeted at buyers seeking a more distinctive look without stepping up to a higher segment.
Bookings for both models are now open through Honda’s dealership network and the company’s official website. Deliveries at authorised Honda dealerships are expected to commence from the second week of February.
Honda has priced the Shine 125 Limited Edition at ₹86,211 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Based on the top-spec disc brake variant, the limited-run model centres on subtle cosmetic updates. The most notable addition is the new Pearl Siren Blue paint option, paired with refreshed ‘Shine’ tank graphics that lend a more premium appearance.

The Japanese manufacturer has also introduced chrome accents on the windscreen, side panels and exhaust cover. Pyrite Brown alloy wheels round off the visual updates, offering a striking contrast to the body colour. Mechanically, the Honda Shine 125 Limited Edition remains unchanged.
Like the regular model, the Shine 125 Limited Edition is powered by the same 124 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that delivers 10.59 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, paired with a five-speed gearbox. It features conventional telescopic forks up front and dual rear shock absorbers, along with 18-inch alloy wheels at both ends. Braking options include drum brakes on both wheels or a front disc with a rear drum, while Honda’s combined braking system (CBS) is standard across all variants.
Priced at ₹87,733 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new Honda Dio 125 X-Edition is based on the top-spec H-Smart variant. The special edition Dio offers sportier aesthetics than the regular model. The scooter debuts a new dual-tone dark blue and silver colour scheme, with silver highlights on the apron sides and a darker blue finish on the centre panel. Updated silver and orange graphics further amplify its sporty character.

The standout update is the orange-finished alloy wheels, which lend the scooter a bold, eye-catching look and recall the brand’s earlier special editions. Beyond these visual changes, the scooter remains mechanically unchanged and continues to offer the same feature set as the standard variant.

Power is derived from a 123.92 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, producing 8.19 bhp and 10.5 Nm of peak torque, and paired with a CVT automatic transmission. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and a three-step adjustable rear shock absorber. Braking is managed by a front disc brake, with a drum brake at the rear.
