Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has dropped the new Dio 125 X-Edition on its social media handles. The new Honda Dio 125 X-Edition is also listed on the brand's website, and is expected to arrive with a new paint scheme and more features, while sporting the same underpinnings. Here’s what you will get with the new X-Edition.
The new Honda Dio 125 X-Edition will be available in a Pearl Siren Blue and Pearl Deep Ground Gray colour scheme. The dual-tone paint finish will be complemented with funky body decals. The scooter continues to ride on 12-inch alloy wheels, which are now painted red.

The upcoming Honda Dio 125 X-Edition will be based on the top-spec H-Smart variant, packing a TFT digital console with Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts, as well as turn-by-turn navigation. It also gets a Type-C USB charging port, and idle start/stop system to save fuel. Other features, including an LED headlamp, external fuel filler, open glovebox, pass switch, side-stand cut off, and more have been retained.
The Dio 125 X-Edition will remain mechanically unchanged. Power will come from the familiar 123.92 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine tuned for 8.19 bhp and 10.5 Nm of peak torque, paired with a CVT automatic. The suspension setup comprises telescopic forks at the front and a three-step adjustable shock at the rear. Braking performance comes from a front disc brake with a drum unit at the rear.
The standard Honda Dio 125 is priced at ₹86,733 for the Standard and ₹91,683 for the H-Smart (ex-showroom, Delhi). Expect the new X-Edition to command a marginal premium over the same. Prices will be announced in the following days.
