Honda Cars India has dropped the first teaser for the much-awaited Elevate facelift, ahead of its launch on October 6, 2026. Pre-bookings for the Honda Elevate facelift have now commenced for a token amount of ₹21,000 across the automaker’s authorised dealerships. India is the first market to get the updated Elevate, which is exported to multiple markets overseas under different names. The teaser reveals a comprehensively updated front profile with LEDs galore.
The teaser showcases the LED DRLs now integrated into the grille, which is expected to receive a revision with a new hexagonal mesh. The rear profile will get connected taillights, while we also expect to see new alloy wheel design on the updated version. The overall profile and dimensions will remain the same on the facelift.

Speaking about the new Elevate, Kunal Behl, Vice President - Marketing and Sales, Honda
Cars, said, “The Honda Elevate has established a strong position among SUV
buyers in India, appreciated for its bold design, road presence, driving pleasure, safety,
space and comfort. With the new Elevate, we are taking this proposition further by
introducing several strongly desired features and enhancements, along with a bolder design
and more premium cabin experience. India is the lead market for the Elevate, and we are
proud to introduce the New Elevate first in India. As we open pre-launch bookings ahead of
the festive season, we look forward to offering our customers an even more compelling
Honda SUV and making their celebrations even more special.”
The cabin is expected to get key upgrades as well with the teaser revealing new leatherette upholstery, extending to the door pads. There’s now ambient lighting strips on the dashboard and door pads. The feature was offered as an accessory at the dealer-level. We also expect to see more features in the car, including a larger panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, an electrically adjustable front passenger seat, 360-degree view camera, and more. Notably, Honda offers Lane Watch Assist, while the ventilated and massage functions are available as an add-on for about ₹6,000 on the current Elevate.
The powertrain is expected to continue without any changes with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine tuned for 119 bhp and 145 Nm of peak torque. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual or a 7-step CVT automatic. Prices are expected to be revised on the new Elevate and we could see more equipment coming in as standard, right from the base trim.
The Elevate is presently priced from ₹11.81 lakh, going up ₹16.36 lakh (ex-showroom), and competes in a highly contested space against the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Victoris, Toyota UC Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Renault Duster and Nissan Tekton. It will face the heat from the upcoming Hyundai Bayon, an all-new SUV in this segment, set to arrive towards the end of October 2026.
