Honda 0 Series Preview

The prototypes, part of Honda's new ‘0 Series’ EV lineup, offer a glimpse into the future of electric mobility for the Japanese automaker.

Honda has unveiled a pair of shadowy images, teasing two sleek electric vehicle prototypes set to make their debut at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The prototypes, part of Honda's new ‘0 Series’ EV lineup, offer a glimpse into the future of electric mobility for the Japanese automaker.

While details remain scarce, the images reveal a pair of distinct silhouettes. One appears to be a low-slung sedan, possibly an evolution of the futuristic ‘Saloon’ concept shown at CES 2024. The other takes on a more SUV-like shape, hinting at a potential crossover model.

Honda had previously stated that vehicles based on its new 0 Series EV platform will offer both single and dual-motor configurations. The single-motor version is expected to feature a 243 bhp unit at the rear, while the dual-motor models will add an additional 67 bhp unit at the front. Two battery packs, 80 kWh and 90 kWh, are also anticipated, with a maximum range estimated at around 480 km.

Production of the 0 Series EVs is set to begin at Honda's plant in Ohio, with the first models expected to hit the U.S. market in 2026. The prototypes will be officially unveiled at Honda's press conference at CES on January 7, 2025.
Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the official unveiling at CES.
