The Alcazar facelift will be offered in four trims and two engine options.
Hyundai India has recently revealed the Alcazar facelift and has also opened the order bookings for the SUV. Ahead of its launch on September 9, we have details about which powertrain will be offered with which trim. Like the outgoing model, the Alcazar facelift will be offered with 6- and 7-seat configurations and the former will only be available with the top-spec trims.
The Alcazar facelift will be offered in four trims – Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature. Furthermore, it will continue to be offered with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options, mated to either a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
With the petrol manual and diesel manual powertrains, the Alcazar facelift gets three variants – Executive 7S, Platinum 7S and Prestige 7S. With the petrol automatic and diesel automatic powertrain options, the Alcazar gets four variants – Platinum 6S, Platinum 7S, Signature 6S, and Signature 7S. The Alcazar facelift gets the 6-seat configuration only with the top two trims and also only with the automatic transmissions.
The facelifted Hyundai Alcazar gets seven colour options which include Abyss Black Pearl, Atlas White, Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Robust Emerald Pearl, Starry Night and Titan Grey Matte. Of these, the Robus Emerald Pearl is new and is also available with the Creta facelift.
While Hyundai is yet to reveal the interior and features list of the Alcazar facelift, it is expected to get a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof and more. Hyundai India has already confirmed that the Alcazar facelift will be offered with ADAS as well as a connected car suite.
It is expected to be priced between ₹17-24 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Once launched, it will rival the Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus and Tata Safari.
