The Creta N Line will get a different body kit with red accents, new colours and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine.
Earlier this year, Hyundai COO Tarun Garg mentioned that the brand is planning to launch more N Line models in India and the Creta will be the first to arrive. Let’s take a look at what all will be different compared to the standard Creta.
The Creta N Line will have different front and rear bumpers, side skirts, grille, spoiler and N Line badges. The updated cosmetic parts also get red accents, akin to other N Line models – i20 and Venue – in Hyundai’s line-up. The Creta N Line will also get two new colour options. It will get N Line-specific Thunder Blue and a new matte-grey paint.
Up front, the Creta N Line gets a new split grille design but retains the existing lighting setup. It also gets a chunkier front bumper with a more prominent-looking faux skid pad and the Hyundai logo has also moved a bit downwards.
In profile, the Creta N Line gets red accents on the side skirts along with new 18-inch alloy wheels with a dual-tone finish. Apart from the beefier bumper, dual-tip exhausts and spoiler, not much has changed at the back.
Inside, the sporty Creta gets the N Line-specific steering wheel and gear lever, as seen on other N Line models. It gets an all-black interior theme with red accents on the upholstery, gear lever, steering wheel and dashboard.
Feature-wise, not much is expected to change from the top-spec Creta SX (O) trim. It will continue to get two 10.25-inch displays for the infotainment and instrument cluster. Furthermore, expect the Creta N Line to get features like a 360-degree camera, ADAS, dual-zone climate control and more.
Mechanically, it will get the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 158 bhp and 253 Nm of torque. While the images confirm the presence of the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, it remains to be seen if the Creta N Line will get a manual gearbox option, but it is highly possible since other N Line models get that option. Furthermore, the Verna and the Alcazar also get the option of the manual gearbox with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine.
Expect the Creta N Line to be priced at a premium of around ₹50,000 over the standard Creta. The latter is priced between ₹11 lakh - 20.15 lakh, with the SX (O) Turbo variant priced between ₹20 lakh - 20.15 lakh. Hyundai could launch the Creta N Line in the coming weeks.
