Hyundai India will offer its connected car technology with the Hyundai Exter, which has more than 60 features.
Hyundai Motor India has finally revealed the complete interior of the Exter micro-SUV ahead of its launch next month, on July 10, 2023. In the new images, the cabin of the Hyundai Exter looks very identical to the Hyundai Santro, and even the Hyundai Grand i10 but this time around, it gets an all-black treatment to the dashboard with a hint of yellow thrown at various areas, most likely available with the top-spec version of the car. Moreover, the company will also offer its connected car technology with the Hyundai Exter, which has more than 60 features.
Let’s take a look at the feature list first, shall we? The Hyundai Exter will come with an 8-inch touchscreen at the centre along with a 4.2-inch fully digital driver’s display. This display will show information such as the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) available on the top-spec, along with an electric sunroof and OTA updates, offered only with the higher-spec models. Moreover, the Hyundai Exter will also come with in-built navigation and smartphone connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, but this will not be standard in the lower trims. Moreover, the Exter will also come with cruise control.
Hyundai will also offer the Exter with its Bluelink-connected car tech with more than 90 voice commands and over 60 features. The Exter can also understand Hinglish voice commands, a common feature in many cars.
Moreover, the Hyundai Exter also comes with H2C (Home to Car) Alexa in Hindi and English, infotainment with multi-language UI support (10 regional and 2 international languages), and ambient sounds of nature, identical to the Hyundai Creta, and even the Hyundai Verna as well as the Hyundai Venue.
The Hyundai Exter also claims to offer best-in-class dimensions, measuring 2450 mm in wheelbase, and 1631 mm in height. However, the Tata Punch sits on a 2455 mm wheelbase and is 1615 mm tall. On the other hand, the top-spec version of the Exter will allow the buyer to opt for sporty-looking seats and upholstery with Exter embraided on the headrest to add a bit of exclusivity.
