Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Mexico, Chile and Peru were the top markets for Hyundai in 2024.
Hyundai Motor India has completed 25 years of exports from India. Over the years, Hyundai exported more than 37 lakh cars from India to around 60 markets around the globe. Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Mexico, Chile and Peru were among the top markets for Hyundai India in 2024.
More than 15 lakh units of the i10 family, which includes models like the i10, Grand i10 and Grand i10 Nios, have been exported since production began in 2007. Similarly, Hyundai has exported more than 5 lakh units from India. South Africa is one of the biggest markets for Hyundai India, with more than 10 lakh units exported.
Unsoo Kim, Managing Director, Hyundai India, said, “Hyundai India proudly stands as the largest exporter of passenger vehicles from India on a cumulative basis. Aiming to become the largest export hub for Hyundai outside South Korea, we aspire to continue our growth trajectory in the coming years.”
Some of the popular models for exports from Hyundai India’s portfolio include the Creta, Alcazar, Verna, Exter and i10.
