Will debut at the Busan International Mobility Show on June 27, 2024.
Hyundai has officially teased its all-electric micro-SUV, the Inster, which is set to make its global debut at the Busan International Mobility Show on June 27, 2024. The name "Inster" combines the words "Intimate" and "Innovative," reflecting the vehicle's unique design philosophy.
The Inster is based on the Casper SUV, a model available in the Korean market since 2021. In Korea, it will be sold as the "Casper Electric." The Inster is expected to make its debut in India next year, potentially as an all-electric variant of the Exter.
Teaser images reveal that the Inster will feature Casper’s signature circular LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and headlamps, along with pixel-themed turn indicators and taillights. Additionally, it will have a front fender-mounted charging port, similar to the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV.
While Hyundai has not disclosed specific details about the battery pack and other specifications, the Inster is projected to achieve a WLTP-certified range of 355 km on a single charge.
