Hyundai Motor Group has confirmed that it’ll unveil a new AI Robotics Strategy at CES 2026.
Hyundai Motor Group has released a teaser for its CES 2026 participation, where it will present its Group-level AI Robotics Strategy under the theme ‘Partnering Human Progress’.
The strategy details will be shared during Hyundai Media Day on 5 January 2026. The session will be live-streamed on the Group's global YouTube channel.
The presentation will focus on expanding AI Robotics across the Group's Value Network, including plans to accelerate commercialization through human-robot collaboration and integrated technologies.
A highlight will be the public debut of Boston Dynamics' next-generation Atlas humanoid robot, marking its first appearance outside the lab. This electric Atlas demonstrates progress toward practical, safe robotic assistants.
Boston Dynamics leads globally in developing and deploying highly mobile robots designed to address challenging industrial and safety tasks. Its robots are claimed to feature advanced mobility, dexterity, and intelligence, allowing automation in unstructured, difficult-to-access, or hazardous environments.
Hyundai will outline AI Robotics development, training, and deployment leveraging its Software-Defined Factory (SDF) model. SDF combines flexible manufacturing with data-driven smart factories, managing the full robotics value chain from components to operations.
From 6-9 January at Las Vegas Convention Center, an exhibition will feature interactive AI Robotics applications in work and daily scenarios, a recreated research environment, and demonstrations of Atlas, Spot, and MobED.
