Ignyte is offering a 3-year warranty for the IGN-16 which comes in five different sizes and 17 colour variants.
Ignyte has introduced its latest high-protection helmet called IGN-16, featuring Kevlar reinforcement and Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) multi-impact technology for advanced rider safety. Kevlar — widely used in bulletproof jackets and ballistic gear — enhances the helmet’s strength against penetration and sharp impacts. The helmet is now available at authorised dealerships and all major online retail platforms.
Commenting on the launch, Kashish Kapur, Director at IGNYTE, said “The IGN-16 combines EPP multi-impact protection with Kevlar reinforcement to give riders a higher level of confidence and comfort. This model reflects IGNYTE’s commitment to delivering advanced safety with premium design.”
The IGN-16 is built using a PC-ABS outer shell paired with an EPP liner, enabling it to absorb impact while regaining shape to support repeated protection cycles. The interior features antimicrobial, anti-allergic, and breathable fabrics, while the padding is removable and washable to maintain long-term hygiene. For clear vision in varying conditions, the helmet is equipped with a high-grade polycarbonate visor that includes anti-scratch treatment, UV protection, and a Pinlock 30 anti-fog insert

Engineered with a sporty aerodynamic profile, the IGN-16 integrates multiple vents, vortex generators, and a rear spoiler to ensure optimal airflow and enhanced riding stability at higher speeds. The model offers both Double D-Ring and Micrometric Buckle retention systems, each tested for reliability. It also holds dual homologation — ISI and DOT — ensuring compliance with global safety standards.
Ignyte, a premium range of helmets produced by Steelbird, offers the IGN-16 with one of its widest customisation ranges, offering 14 options in the Quantum Collection, four in the Steady Collection, and 17 monocolour variants. The helmet comes in five sizes and has a weight of 1,750 ± 50 g. Priced at ₹5,999, it is backed by a 3-year warranty.
Each unit also comes with a set of additional accessories, such as a smoke visor, balaclava, sports cheek pads, extra fitting pads, and a miniature IGN-16 model that demonstrates its EPP technology.
