Like the XC90, the XC60 also gets its second facelift and the biggest update is in the cabin.

Volvo Cars has introduced a new, refreshed version of the XC60 SUV. Just like the XC90, the XC60 is also getting its second facelift this time. The refreshed XC60 gets minor changes on the outside, some new tech on the inside and the same powertrains as before.

The second facelift for the XC60 comes with minor cosmetic updates.

The biggest changes on the exterior of the new XC60 include a slightly redesigned grille, new alloy wheels and three new colours – Forest Lake, Aurora Silver and Mulberry Red. Apart from that, the XC60 remains quite similar to the previous facelift.

There are new designs for the alloy wheels.

However, an even bigger change is inside the facelifted XC60. Like the new XC90, which is launching in India on March 4, the XC60 now also gets a larger, 11.2-inch infotainment touchscreen. For reference, the outgoing XC60, which is still available in India, had a 9-inch unit. Both are vertically oriented, like all Volvo models globally. The new 11.2-inch unit runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit platform which Volvo claims allows the Google Android Automotive-based infotainment system to be twice as fast as before, and graphics being 10 times faster.

Along with the new touchscreen, the XC60 also gets a new centre console layout, a better wireless charger and new cupholders. And it also gets new cabin materials.

The biggest update to the XC60 is the new 11.2-inch touchscreen.

Globally, the XC60 gets three powertrain options – B5 mild hybrid, T6 plug-in hybrid and T8 plug-in hybrid (PHEV) – and all get a 2.0-litre engine. In the B5, the powertrain churns out 184 bhp and 360 Nm. In the PHEVs, the XC60 T6 produces 345 bhp, while the T8 produces 449 bhp. Both versions produce 309 Nm and get a 19 kWh battery pack with an electric-only range of up to 101 km (city). In India, the XC60 comes with the B5 powertrain.

Outside, the most prominent change is the redesigned grille.

While Volvo India hasn’t confirmed the launch of the refreshed XC60, it is highly likely that it will since it is Volvo’s highest-selling model in the country. Expect it to come to our market by either late 2025 or in 2026. Currently, the XC60 is priced at ₹69.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and the facelifted version will come with a slightly higher price tag. It will rival the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3 and Audi Q5.
