The manufacturer announced plans for mobility solutions beyond road vehicles
Lexus showcased multiple concept vehicles at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 on 29 October 2025, demonstrating its vision for the future of mobility.

The brand presented three versions of its LS flagship series. The LS Concept features six wheels to maximise floor space and provide access. The vehicle offers a private space for occupants. The LS Coupe Concept balances driving experience with passenger comfort. The LS Sport Concept focuses on driver immersion and engagement with the senses.

Lexus also displayed a one-person vehicle format. The concept operates autonomously and incorporates the private space element from the LS Concept.

The manufacturer announced plans for mobility solutions beyond road vehicles. Lexus has been working with Joby on personal air mobility. The air vehicle operates quietly and efficiently.
A concept for water transport was unveiled. The design includes an autonomous catamaran for maritime use.

Chief Branding Officer Simon Humphries explained that Lexus no longer defines LS as Luxury Sedan or Luxury SUV but as Luxury Space. The brand positions itself between Toyota and Century in the Toyota Group portfolio.

The concepts reflect changes in the market where SUVs have replaced executive sedans as the segment leader. Lexus aims to offer variety at the flagship level to accommodate different customer preferences globally.

The manufacturer stated that city centres face space restrictions, prompting development of alternative mobility formats. The concepts connect business and leisure mobility across land, sea and air.
