JBM Ecolife Pvt Ltd has expanded operations in India. The manufacturer of vehicles has deployed units in Delhi and signed a pact in Gandhinagar. The company now has a fleet of 3,000 buses in the country. This move aids the shift to transport with zero emissions.
Rekha Gupta, the Chief Minister of Delhi, flagged off 103 units in New Delhi. These vehicles run on electricity and have air conditioning. The buses have a length of nine metres and floors at a low height. The fleet of the company in Delhi has reached a count of 1,000. This addition supports the change to mobility without pollution.
JBM Ecolife also signed an agreement with the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation. This partnership falls under the PM e-Bus Sewa scheme of the government. The company will supply 100 units to the body in Gandhinagar. The manufacturer will deliver 40 vehicles by the end of the year 2026. This supply will take the fleet in Gujarat to 500.
