The Compass Track Edition is a limited-run special variant based on the top-spec Model S, priced at ₹26.78 lakh for the manual, ₹28.64 lakh for the automatic and ₹30.58 lakh for the 4×4 automatic
Jeep India has unveiled the new Compass Track Edition, a limited-run special variant based on the top-spec Model S, priced at ₹26.78 lakh for the manual, ₹28.64 lakh for the automatic and ₹30.58 lakh for the 4×4 automatic (all ex-showroom and inclusive of the mandatory ₹8,200 AXS pack). This represents a premium of roughly ₹1.00–₹1.50 lakh over the equivalent base Compass Model S versions, while slotting above the Limited trim and below the top-end off-road Model S 4×4 in the standard line-up.
Built on the Compass Model S platform, the Track Edition enhances the SUV’s off-road prowess with bespoke design touches and interior refinements. Exterior updates include a signature hood decal, Piano Black grille and trim, exclusive Track Edition badging, and striking 18-inch Tech Grey diamond-cut alloy wheels highlighted by Spruce Beige accents. Inside, the cabin receives Tupelo leatherette seats with Spruce Beige contrast stitching, Smoke Chrome finishes, Piano Black inserts and embossed Jeep branding, framed by a Cortina leather-wrapped steering wheel and dedicated Track Edition floor mats.

Under the hood, the Track Edition retains the Compass’s potent 2.0-litre MultiJet II turbo diesel engine offering 168 bhp and 350 Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or class-first 9-speed automatic transmission, and available in 2WD or 4WD configurations. Standard safety and technology features—including the 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 10.25-inch digital TFT cluster, dual-pane panoramic sunroof and Alpine sound system—remain unchanged.

By comparison, the regular Compass range starts at ₹18.99 lakh for the Sport variant and rises to ₹32.41 lakh for the top-spec Model S (O) 4×4 AT. The Track Edition’s bespoke styling and exclusivity justify its ₹2–4 lakh premium over mid-spec variants such as the Longitude and Limited, while delivering a more personalised look without compromising Jeep’s legendary capability.
