Jio-bp and Kia India have integrated EV charging networks, giving Kia owners access to 23,500+ charging points via K-Charge while adding Kia dealership chargers to the Jio-bp app.

Jio-bp, the mobility joint venture between Reliance Industries and bp, has partnered with Kia India to integrate their electric vehicle charging ecosystems nationwide. The cross-network partnership aims to improve public EV charging accessibility, allowing Kia EV owners to locate, access, and pay at Jio-bp pulse charging stations directly via the K-Charge platform inside the MyKia mobile application.

Under this bilateral collaboration, Jio-bp brings its network of over 7,000 charging points spanning 1,100+ active charging sites in more than 300 Indian cities to the partnership. With this integration, Kia's K-Charge platform now grants Kia EV owners access to over 23,500 public charging points nationwide. In return, Kia India's 125 operational dealership DC fast chargers, along with future installations, will be progressively integrated into the Jio-bp pulse charge pro application.

Jio-bp's EV charging setup includes high-capacity DC fast chargers with outputs ranging from 60 kW up to 480 kW, allowing high-voltage Kia EV models to charge closer to their maximum battery reception limits. The Jio-bp network boasts a 96 per cent uptime and strong highway coverage to support seamless long-distance travel. Both applications support end-to-end digital session handling, from real-time charger discovery and turn-by-turn navigation to session tracking and cashless payments.

Commenting on the initiative, Atul Sood, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Kia India, stated that the partnership strengthens the overall EV ownership experience by providing enhanced choice and convenience[cite: 9]. Sarthak Behuria, Chairman of Jio-bp, and Akshay Wadhwa, CEO of Jio-bp, highlighted that combining high-uptime infrastructure with high-performance fast chargers helps build customer trust and reduces range and operational anxiety for EV drivers.
