JK Tyre & Industries Limited has secured a Silver Rating from EcoVadis, one of the world’s most widely recognised sustainability assessment platforms, placing the company in the 93rd percentile globally. This ranking positions JK Tyre among the top 7 percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis across industries, highlighting its progress in sustainability, ethical governance, and responsible business practices
EcoVadis evaluates organisations on four key pillars — Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. JK Tyre’s Silver Rating reflects measurable advancements across these dimensions, underlining the company’s focus on integrating sustainability into its operational and strategic framework.
In FY25, JK Tyre achieved an overall EcoVadis score of 77 out of 100, with Environment emerging as its strongest pillar. The company scored 89 points in this category, driven by initiatives related to climate action, energy efficiency, emissions management, and robust environmental management systems
The performance indicates JK Tyre’s ongoing efforts to reduce its environmental footprint while aligning manufacturing practices with global sustainability benchmarks. The score also reinforces the company’s emphasis on structured environmental policies and measurable outcomes across its operations in India and Mexico.

JK Tyre operates 11 manufacturing facilities worldwide, comprising nine plants in India and two in Mexico, with a combined annual production capacity of around 35 million tyres. It ranks among the world’s top 20 tyre manufacturers and was a pioneer of radial tyre technology in India, having introduced its first radial tyre in 1977.
The company has earned multiple sustainability and safety recognitions, notably the prestigious ‘Sword of Honour’ from the British Safety Council for safety performance across all its plants. JK Tyre is also India’s first tyre manufacturer to join RE100, the global initiative promoting the use of 100 percent renewable electricity.
