Kia India has announced that its Carens MPV has surpassed the 2 lakh unit sales mark within 36 months of its launch. The vehicle has emerged as one of the fastest-selling models in its category, gaining popularity among Indian families seeking a spacious and feature-rich mobility solution.
The Carens has witnessed strong demand across all its variants, with the top trims accounting for 24 per cent of total sales. Petrol variants have been more popular, contributing 58 per cent of total sales, while diesel models account for the remaining 42 per cent. It is powered by three engine choices: a 1.5L turbo-petrol, a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, and a 1.5L diesel. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed iMT, a 7-speed DCT, and a 6-speed automatic.
