Kinetic e-Luna And A Performance e-Scooter Coming In 2024

During the launch of its new e-scooter, the Zulu, Kinetic Green will be launching the e-Luna moped and a performance electric scooter in 2024. The e-Luna has been in the pipeline for a while and now we have some clarity regarding its revival.

Kinetic has been working on the e-Luna moped for a few years. The icon will aim to rekindle the easy going nature of its old ICE counterpart. It is supposed to have a humble appeal with the first preference for the new e-Luna would be towards the B2B market.

Also, a performance e-scooter for Kinetic would be interesting. While the company can’t just get away with calling it the Kinetic Honda, for obvious reasons, perhaps again revitalising the DX moniker could do the trick. We doubt though it would be as sporty as the upcoming Ather 450 Apex or even the current 450X, but it should be more on the lines of the 450S. Kinetic claims it will have a top speed of around 85-90 kmph and will roll on 12-inch wheels. That is the only info divulged on the upcoming e-scooter so far.

More on the same two electric offerings in 2024. What will be interesting is how the entire EV industry gears up for life after FAME-II. Will these products get as much love even then is what remains to be seen.
