The E Luna Prime builds on the company's existing E-Luna model, which has sold over 25,000 units since its launch earlier this year.
A year after Kinetic Green ushered in the historic “Luna” badge in an electric avatar with the E Luna. The brand has now gone ahead and launched a bit more premium version of the same with the new E Luna Prime. Priced from ₹82,490 (ex-showroom) onwards, the E Luna Prime will be available in two variants with 110 km and 140 km of range. The asking price of the latter was not mentioned in the press release, but both have been positioned directly against traditional 100 cc and 110 cc petrol motorcycles, respectively.
The Kinetic E Luna differentiates itself from the rest of the range with 16-inch alloy wheels, a sporty single seat and a fully digital colour instrument console. The E Luna Prime will be sold in six colour options through Kinetic Green's network of over 300 dealerships across India.
“Our extensive consumer research and mind mapping in personal mobility needs revealed a critical opportunity to harness advanced EV technology and attributes for creating India's most affordable yet aspirational mobility solution for the fastest growing commuter motorcycle segment. The E-Luna Prime, with its industry-leading features along with the winning proposition of ₹2,500 monthly ownership cost, exemplifies our commitment to address the evolving and unmet customer needs by leveraging cutting-edge electric vehicle innovations,” explained Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder and CEO, Kinetic Green.
