The Ranger comes in two variants and the company claims a range of between 200-250 km.
Komaki Electric expanded its product portfolio by launching the new Ranger. Komaki claims that the new Ranger is India’s most feature-rich electric cruiser bike. The new motorcycle is available in two variants, Fully Loaded at ₹1.50 lakh and the Base variant ₹1.40 lakh, both prices are ex-showroom. The styling of the Ranger is typical of a cruiser with a round headlight, tall windscreen, large tank and brown seats with a backrest. There are two faux exhaust mufflers as well which are very gimmicky.
Moving further, the Komaki Ranger has a claimed range of between 200-250 km and features a 4 kW hub motor. The top speed is in between 70-80 kmph, which is slow for a motorcycle at this price point. On the features front, the Ranger gets a large 7-inch TFT instrument console with onboard navigation, cruise control and park assist. The electric cruiser bike comes with a 3-year or 30,000km warranty for the battery, motor and controller, along with a 1-year warranty on the charger. Electric motorcycles in general haven’t been very popular in comparison to scooters and for the asking price, the Ranger lacks the performance that one associates with a cruiser, although the claimed range does look good.
Speaking on the launch, Gunjan Malhotra, Co-founder of Komaki Electric Vehicles said, “We, at Komaki Electric, are very excited and looking forward to penetrating deeper into the market with the launch of the Ranger model. Delivering unparalleled power, sophistication, and eco-friendly performance in one breathtaking package, it can be considered one of the biggest launches of 2025. The model has been designed to enable long-distance cruising in electric vehicles that is sure to ace the game in the sector.”
