The third season of KTM Cup has been planned across four cities over the coming weeks that will involve structured competition, professional training, and community engagement.
KTM India officially kickstarted Season 3 of the KTM Cup with an action-packed opening round held in Mumbai. The event marked the first state-level round of India’s largest single-make motorcycle racing championship. The Mumbai leg set the tone for the season, underlining KTM’s continued focus on grassroots motorsport development in the country.
The opening round witnessed participation from over 120 aspiring racers, who competed across multiple timed sessions and skill-based evaluations. Riders were assessed on performance, consistency, and technical ability, making the event both competitive and demanding. The strong turnout reflected growing interest in professional racing platforms and reinforced Mumbai’s standing as a key centre for performance motorcycling.

Following an intense day of competition, the top-performing riders earned qualification for the next round of the championship. Participants who advanced to the next round are now one step closer to securing the KTM Cup title, as the championship progresses through multiple cities over the coming weeks. The structured format aims to provide riders with progressive exposure to competitive racing conditions.
Enhancing the overall spectacle of the Mumbai round, internationally acclaimed KTM stunt rider Rok Bagoros delivered a high-energy stunt performance. His appearance not only added entertainment value to the event but also showcased KTM’s performance-oriented brand ethos, further engaging fans and participants alike.

Season 3 of the KTM Cup offers significant incentives for participating riders. MotoGP legend Dani Pedrosa is scheduled to interact with racers during the Qualifier and Finale rounds. Additionally, the overall winners will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Austria Grand Prix, including pit access and a visit to the KTM Motohall in Mattighofen.
