KTM RC 200 Gains New Colour Option

The KTM RC 200 has gained a brand new colour option called Metallic Grey. It’s a triple-tone option wherein the grey colour intermingles with orange and black to give out that exciting, bright and vibrant appeal. With this new shade KTM has not revised the pricing for that was already done just a few days back, wherein the 2025 RC 200 now costs ₹15,000 more than before at ₹2.33 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it quite the premium option now as it is almost ₹22,000 dearer than the top-spec variant of the Yamaha R15 V4 and surpasses the slightly better equipped and more powerful KTM 250 Duke which costs ₹2.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).  

While this price hike was a bit of a downer, this new colour option does certainly help make matters more appealing. However, mechanically, the bike has remained the same wherein it is powered by a 199.5 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder mill that churns out 24.6 horses and 19.2 Nm of peak torque. The engine continues to be paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

We had also earlier reported that KTM is working on a new 160 cc platform. We think KTM will be developing this new engine using the bore of the RC 200’s 199 cc mill, which should hopefully be able to pump out 19-20 bhp and 14-15 Nm of peak torque.
