The Overtrail variant gets a new paint option, blacked-out accents and a couple of mechanical updates.
Lexus India has launched the Overtrail variant of the NX 350h at ₹71.17 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It slots between the Exquisite and Luxury variants of the NX 350h. The Overtrail variant gets blacked-out accents, a special paint and some mechanical updates.

The NX 350h Overtrail variant gets a special ‘Moon Desert’ colour option and blacked-out grille, ORVMs, door handles, roof rails and window surrounds. While the regular variants of the NX 350h get 20-inch alloy wheels, the Overtrail variant gets 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the NX 350h Overtrail gets minimal changes. It gets the same black interior theme but gets wooden inserts on the door trims and the seats get a brown insert. In terms of features, it continues to get the 14-inch infotainment touchscreen, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 17-speaker system tuned by Mark Levinson, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and more.
The NX 350h Overtrail also gets ADAS which includes features like dynamic cruise control, lane tracking assist, lane departure warning and pre-collision system. Other safety features include eight airbags, blind spot monitoring, ABS with EBD, hill start assist and three-point seatbelts, among others.
Mechanically, the Overtrail variant gets an increased ride height, however, Lexus India has mentioned the delta of the increase. The other mechanical update includes the Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) that is available only on the top-spec F Sport variant. It continues with the same 2.5-litre engine mated to two electric motors and has a combined output of 240 hp. Power is sent to all four wheels via an e-CVT (automatic gearbox).
The Lexus NX 350h rivals the Mercedes-Benz GLC (₹74.75 - 75.45 lakh), Audi Q5 (₹65.18 - 70.45 lakh), BMW X3 (₹68.50 - 87.70 lakh) and Volvo XC60 (₹68.9 lakh). (All prices ex-showroom India).
