Lexus NX 350h Updated In India; Gets E20 Compliant Engine

Lexus India has improved the NX SUV for 2025, giving it a few minor but crucial improvements. The NX 350h gets new colours, some new features, and better cabin insulation, but more importantly, it gets E20 compliance. 

The NX 350h is available in four variants – Overtrail, F Sport, Luxury and Exquisite. All except the Overtrail get a new Radiant Red colour option, while all except the F Sport get a new White Nova colour option. 

With the E20 complaint engine, Lexus claims the NX 350h returns a fuel efficiency of 20.26 kmpl. It comes with a 2.5-litre petrol engine mated to a hybrid assist system, churning out 240 bhp (combined). The engine itself produces 188 bhp and 239 Nm, while the electric motor generates 180 bhp and 270 Nm (front) and 54 bhp and 121 Nm (rear). It also gets uphill assist control, which has been integrated with the hybrid system. 

The NX 350h also comes with new materials, which Lexus claims help in improving the noise insulation within the cabin, especially at the rear. Lexus has also changed the AC filter in the NX, as it has made the fabric thicker to collect more particles. Lexus said it has also improved air control in the cabin to reduce energy consumption and improve fuel efficiency. 

Bookings for the updated NX 350h have already begun. However, whether the prices have changed or not will be announced at a later date. The NX 350h rivals the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, Volvo XC60 and Audi Q5.
