Limited-Run Jeep Meridian Track Edition Launched, Prices Start At ₹35.95 Lakh

Jeep India has launched the new Meridian Track Edition, bringing a limited-run offering in the SUV’s lineup. The new Jeep Meridian Track Edition is based on the top-spec Overland variant, and is priced at ₹35.95 lakh for the 4x2 automatic, while the 4x4 automatic will set you back by ₹37.82 lakh (ex-showroom). Jeep has added special enhancements to the Meridian to make it more appealing, while charging a ₹34,000 premium over the standard version. The automaker will also be charging an additional mandatory AXS pack worth ₹9,200 with the Track Edition.

Jeep Meridian Track Edition: What’s New?

The new Meridian Track Edition gets cosmetic add-ons, which help it stand out from the regular version. This includes piano black accents across grille, badges and exterior mouldings. The SUV carries a Signature Track Edition decal on the bonnet, and an Exclusive Track Edition badge on the tailgate.

The cabin retains the same layout but gets new dual-tone Tupelo with suede inserts for a premium look. There’s also contrast stitching and quilting on the seats and bolsters. The cabin is finished with Dark Espresso accents with piano black bezels for a rich feel. Another highlight is the Cortina leather-wrapped steering wheel with detailed stitching, along with Track Edition appliques embossed on the door and floor mats. Since the Meridian Track Edition is based on the Overland trim, it gets the sliding second row that was introduced recently, which liberates up to 140 mm of additional legroom.

Speaking about the new limited edition, Kumar Priyesh, Business Head and Director – Automotive Brands, Stellantis India, said, “The Meridian Track Edition introduces a crafted, more expressive take on our premium 7‑seater while delivering the enhanced flexibility customers have asked for. With the new sliding second row, we’ve created the Most Comfortable Jeep Meridian Ever, complemented by the confidence and reassurance of Jeep Confidence 7.”

There are no mechanical changes to the Jeep Meridian Track Edition. The SUV continues to remain trail friendly with its short overhangs, and impressive off-road credentials, while power comes from the 2.0-litre MultiJet II diesel engine tuned for 168 bhp and 350 Nm. The motor is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, coupled with 2WD and 4WD options. The Meridian comes equipped with Jeep’s Selec-Terrain system to handle rough roads.

The new Meridian Track Edition carries over the feature set from the Overland variant. This includes the 10.1-inch UConnect 5 infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There’s a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a premium Alpine audio system, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 12-way electrically adjustable ventilated front seats with memory function, and Level 2 ADAS.

Jeep has not disclosed how many units of the Meridian Track Edition will be available. The automaker is offering a seven-year warranty coverage on the SUV, along with assured buyback, maintenance packages, roadside assistance, and priority service.

The new Meridian also comes at a time when there’s been a lot of movement in the three-row SUV space. With the arrival of the Volkswagen Tayron R-Line and MG Majestor, the segment is witnessing a shake-up, and the latest limited edition will serve as a reminder for potential buyers about the Meridian’s availability in the same space.
