Mahindra has just launched its new born-electric vehicle that will be a part of its BE sub-brand, called the BE 6e. The BE 6e will have a cab-forward design with a short bonnet and a boot. It gets C-shaped LED DRLs at the front and the same design, but slightly bigger, for the taillamps. The BE 6e looks quite futuristic and also comes with aero-designed alloy wheels as well as flush-fitting door handles.

Inside, the BE 6e gets futuristic looks too with its driver-focused cabin and twin-screen layout. The drive-selector’s design seems to be inspired by an aircraft and the whole cockpit is angled towards the driver. It has twin 12.3-inch screens for the infotainment and virtual instrument cluster. It also gets MAIA artificial intelligence and a Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos.

The 6e has a boot space of 455 litres and gets a 45-litre frunk.

The BE 6e will come with 175 kW DC fast charging support. It gets a 282 bhp and 380 Nm electric motor, which helps it accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 6.7 seconds.
