Mahindra & Mahindra on Thursday announced that its Farm Equipment Business (FEB) has surpassed the production milestone of 70 lakh tractors, highlighting its scale in the farm mechanisation segment and its presence across domestic and international markets.

The milestone follows a year in which the FEB division recorded annual tractor sales of more than 5,26,000 units in FY26. During the year, the company also expanded its product lineup with models such as the Mahindra 585 YUVO TECH+ V1, Mahindra NOVO Premium Edition and Swaraj Protek, while continuing the international rollout of the Mahindra OJA range.
Mahindra FEB currently operates in more than 50 markets globally and is the world’s largest tractor manufacturer by volume.
The company said it plans to introduce seven new tractors and 12 new features during FY27 across the Mahindra Tractor and Swaraj Protek ranges, while continuing to develop smart agricultural machinery solutions across the farming value chain.
Mahindra Tractors, established in 1963, remains the largest tractor brand in India, with manufacturing facilities located in Mumbai, Nagpur, Zaheerabad, Rudrapur, Jaipur and Rajkot, while its research and development activities are based in Chennai. Swaraj Tractors, which developed India’s first indigenous tractor in 1974, operates manufacturing, foundry and R&D facilities in Mohali. Gromax Agri Equipment Ltd., a joint venture between Mahindra & Mahindra and the Government of Gujarat, produces tractors under the Trakstar and Hindustan brands.
