The BE 6e and XUV 9e are set to be offered at an introductory price of ₹18.90 lakh and ₹21.90 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, Chennai). Notably, the price does not include the cost of the charger or its installation, which will need to be purchased separately. By decoupling these elements, Mahindra aims to provide buyers with flexibility, allowing them to select a charging solution that best fits their needs.
Now, Mahindra will offer two charger options to support the varied requirements of EV owners. A 7.3 kWh charger option that caters to customers with moderate charging needs, making it suitable for daily commutes and urban environments, while the 11.2 kWh charger is designed for faster charging aimed at those who require quicker turnarounds or drive longer distances regularly. Both options will be made available on a chargeable basis, with specific pricing and installation details expected to be revealed closer to the vehicle launch.
