Domestic tractor sales jumped 28% year-on-year, while total volumes (including exports) reached 28,117 units, up 28% over August 2024.
Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Business achieved 26,201 tractor sales in August 2025, up 27% from July’s 20,610 units, outpacing the industry’s 10.96% monthly growth captured by FADA. Domestic tractor sales jumped 28% year-on-year, while total volumes (including exports) reached 28,117 units, up 28% over August 2024.
Year-to-August tractor volumes stand at 182,390 domestic units (+12%) and 190,914 overall (+12%). This strong performance reflects favourable monsoon conditions and government farm-credit schemes bolstering rural demand.
Mahindra & Mahindra retains a commanding lead in both tractors and passenger vehicles, though competition remains fierce. As festive season demand heats up, Mahindra is well-positioned to capitalise on product depth and pent-up rural spending.
