New Scorpio N variant with ADAS tech in the pipeline.
Mahindra is preparing to introduce a significant update to the Scorpio N, which is expected to bring a revised feature set, including premium additions such as Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and a panoramic sunroof. Currently, the Scorpio N is offered with a single-pane electric sunroof, limited to select higher variants. The introduction of a panoramic sunroof will enhance the vehicle’s appeal.

The more substantial update comes in the form of Level 2 ADAS features, which are expected to debut in an all-new variant of the SUV. While Mahindra has not officially confirmed the full suite of driver assistance technologies, the package is likely to include key features such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, smart pilot assist, and high beam assist. These technologies are already available on the Mahindra XUV700, suggesting the company is leveraging its existing ADAS platform to expand the offering to the Scorpio N.

This feature upgrade is not expected to bring any changes to the powertrain options. The new variant is likely to retain the existing 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, both of which are available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Additionally, a 4WD configuration is expected to be offered, likely on the diesel-powered variants.
