At least six upcoming models will feature Mobileye’s technology, beginning in 2027.
Mobileye, the Israel-based ADAS and autonomous driving technology firm, has announced that Mahindra & Mahindra will use its SuperVision and Surround ADAS hands-free, eyes-on driving assistance systems starting in 2027. At least six upcoming models will feature Mobileye’s technology, powering features such as automatic parking, driver monitoring, and hands-off driving on designated routes.
Mahindra will use Mobileye’s EyeQ6 High, a premium ADAS System-on-Chip, enabling partial autonomous driving operations on a single ECU to simplify the architecture of Mahindra’s upcoming models. The 2027 target indicates that the upcoming models will not be the production versions of concepts unveiled by the company recently, but could include next-gen versions or updates of the BE 6, XEV 9e, and XEV 9s.
Leveraging 11 cameras and possibly radar sensors, SuperVision allows for point-to-point autonomous navigation in limited areas and conditions. Surround ADAS system requires five cameras and multiple radar emitters, using a single EyeQ6 High processor to power advanced parking along with surround-view, safety and perception features. Mobileye promises safety and comfort for drivers along with scalability for manufacturers.

The companies’ autonomous driving solutions will be localised for India, with the potential to serve export markets as well.
The companies had announced in early January this year that they would expand their existing collaboration to include new features powered by EyeQ6 series hardware, with the potential to build a full-stack autonomous driving system suitable for Indian conditions. Previous Mahindra models built around Mobileye offerings include the popular XUV700 which introduced segment-first ADAS features in 2021. “As more advanced models emerge, we see great opportunities for growth in India and look forward to executing with Mahindra to bring Mobileye SuperVision-based services to one of the most challenging driving environments in the world”, Mobileye CEO Prof. Amnon Shashua had said in a press statement at the time.
