Mahindra XUV 7XO competes with other three-row mid-size SUVs such as Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus.

The mid-size SUV segment just got heated up with some recent updates. First, the MG Hector range, including the 5-seater Hector and the seven-seater Hector Plus, received yet another facelift. Then Tata Motors introduced a petrol engine option to the Harrier and Safari, although their official prices are yet to be announced. And now, Mahindra has announced the launch of XUV 7XO – a facelifted and rebranded avatar of the Mahindra XUV700.

Prices for Mahindra XUV 7XO start from ₹13.66 lakh for petrol variants and ₹14.96 lakh for diesel variants (both ex-showroom). These are introductory prices and applicable for the first 40,000 customer deliveries. Let us take a look at how the XUV 7XO fares against its direct rivals in the form of Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus (only three-row models taken into consideration).
