This amusing yet remarkable incident took place in the ‘Silicon Valley of India, Bengaluru.
In a very heartwarming and intelligent display, a man chose to ride in on the newly launched Ather Rizta over a conventional horse for his wedding baraat. The man, who reportedly also happens to be an Ather employee, took to social media and showcased his unique baraat transport, while being cheered by friends and family around him.
So this happened last weekend!

Darshan wanted to make his baraat entry on Rizta and we had to make it happen for his grand entrance.
And, why not? Rizta is all about family. pic.twitter.com/zudTju0chF
Truth be told, Ather does claim that the Rizta has the largest seat in the business, ideal for the big large Indian family. The employee's decision to choose this family-oriented electric scooter further reinstates the brand’s claim in this regard. Moreover, we can also ascertain that the Rizta had a much more comfortable seat, than a horse’s saddle.
Available in three variants with two battery pack options. The base-spec Ather Rizta S gets a 2.9 kWh battery pack, while the Rizta Z variant is available with two options, including the bigger 3.7 kWh battery pack, alongside the smaller pack. With the smaller option, the electric scooter can do 123 km of range, while the bigger pack is good for 160 km of claimed range.
The Ather Rizta was launched last month at an introductory price of ₹1.10 lakh. Based on the same platform that also underpins the Ather 450 scooters, the Rizta gets a bigger body design that primarily focuses on being spacious and more functional.
