Efforts to verify the source of the smoke through independent sources have so far been inconclusive.

Maruti Suzuki has clarified that recent reports of a massive fire at its Gurgaon plant are incorrect. While videos on social media suggest that a fire did indeed break out inside the Maruti Suzuki Gurgaon plant, showing the brand's hoarding on a gate. However, Maruti Suzuki has denied any such incident within its facility.

Rahul Bharti, Executive Director of Corporate Affairs at Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), informed Acko Drive that the fire occurred in a neighboring factory, not within Maruti Suzuki's plant. He mentioned, "Our fire tenders were deployed immediately, and the fire is now extinguished."

Efforts to verify the source of the smoke through independent sources have so far been inconclusive.
