In the filing to the NSE and BSE, Maruti Suzuki said it has been trying to absorb the impact of higher costs through cost reduction measures over the past few months.
Maruti Suzuki India on Thursday said it will raise prices across its model range by up to ₹30,000 from June 2026, citing sustained input cost pressure, according to a stock exchange filing on Thursday. The company said the price change will vary by model.
In the filing to the NSE and BSE, Maruti Suzuki said it has been trying to absorb the impact of higher costs through cost reduction measures over the past few months. It added that inflationary pressure remains high and that part of the cost increase will now be passed on to customers.

This will be the latest Maruti Suzuki price hike in the past year. Reuters reported that the company raised prices by up to 4 per cent from April 2025 after earlier increases in January and February 2025. Reuters also reported that Maruti Suzuki announced a price hike of up to 4 per cent in December 2024, which took effect in January 2025, following an earlier increase of 0.45 per cent in January 2024.
Maruti Suzuki has often revised prices when raw material and operational costs rise. The company’s latest move comes as car makers continue to adjust prices to protect margins while facing higher input costs.
For buyers, the change means the ex-showroom price of some models will go up from next month. The company did not give model-wise price changes in the filing and said the exact increase will differ across its portfolio.
In its filing, Maruti Suzuki said the increase will take effect in June 2026. The move covers the full portfolio and follows months of cost pressure, the company said.
