Exterior branding elements showcase a fresh aesthetic treatment.
Italian luxury automaker Maserati on Saturday unveiled the MC Pura, its mid-engine performance supercar, in India. The V6-equipped sports car arrives in two variants: a hardtop Coupe and an open-roof variant Cielo. Pricing for the Coupe begins at Rs 4.12 crore (ex-showroom), while the convertible Cielo commands Rs 5.12 crore (ex-showroom).
The MC Pura maintains the fundamental silhouette of its MC20 predecessor while incorporating distinctive design modifications at both ends. There is a redesigned grille featuring a dark surround.
The front fascia receives updated styling through a modified splitter design, complemented by enlarged air intake openings positioned beneath the headlamp units. At the rear, subtle refinements to the bumper structure enhance its sculptured appearance.
Exterior branding elements get a fresh aesthetic treatment. The iconic Trident emblems adorning the grille and C-pillar, the "MCPura" lettering on the flanks, and wheel center cap insignias all display a distinctive magenta tone embedded with blue mica particles. The Coupe features glossy badges while the Cielo sports matte finishes, creating visual contrast against the body paint.
Propulsion for both MC Pura variants comes from a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged "Nettuno" V6 powerplant, delivering 621 horsepower and 719 Nm of torque. An eight-speed automatic gearbox transfers power exclusively to the rear axle.
The Cielo accelerates from standstill to 100 kilometres per hour in 3.0 seconds, achieving a maximum velocity of 325 kilometers per hour. The Coupe shaves acceleration time to 2.9 seconds for the 0-100 kmph sprint while matching the same top speed figure.
The MCPura's interior features laser-etched Alcantara upholstery showcasing irregular vertical striping patterns. Fresh seat architecture incorporates double-sided backing that creates a layered aesthetic through contrasting color combinations including red and blue tones. Beyond these enhancements, the interior configuration mirrors the MC20's established layout.
