The Celebration Edition is limited to 50 units and focuses more on rear seat comfort.
Mercedes-Benz India has launched a new special edition for the EQS 580, called the Celebration Edition. This special edition is priced at ₹1.30 crore (ex-showroom, India), and while the price remains unchanged, it is limited to just 50 units nationwide.
Mercedes-Benz introduced this special edition to celebrate the growth of sales of its electric vehicles. It reports that its sales grew by 73 per cent between January and March 2025, led by the growing demand for the EQS, EQS SUV, Maybach EQS SUV and the G 580 with EQ Tech.
The EQS 580 Celebration Edition focuses more on rear seat comfort, says Mercedes-Benz. To that extent, it gets a Rear Seat Comfort Package and Multi-Contour Rear Seats with a massaging function and lumbar support. The rear seats can now recline by up to 38 degrees, and the Chauffeur Package allows the front seats to be tilted to make more space at the back. The Celebration Edition also gets Augmented Reality (AR) based navigation.
There are no exterior changes in the EQS 580 Celebration Edition. Powering the EQS 580 are two electric motors capable of churning out 516 bhp and 855 Nm. Its 107.8 kWh battery allows it a claimed range of 872 km (ARAI).
