Mercedes-Benz has officially debuted its highly anticipated all-new CLA, a sleek and technologically advanced compact sedan, at a glamorous event in Cannes. The unveiling marks a significant step forward for the brand, showcasing its commitment to innovation, design, and the future of electric mobility.
The wheelbase has grown by 61mm, and the height is greater by 28mm, while the body is 33mm longer overall. The CLA's low-slung profile, elongated hood, and frameless doors contribute to its sophisticated and athletic stance. The vehicle features a prominent illuminated Mercedes star on the grille, flanked by sharp LED headlights, and a seamless light bar spanning the rear.
The interior gets a minimalist design, premium materials, and cutting-edge technology, including the latest MBUX infotainment system. The latest Mercedes-Benz user interface generation offers a seamless and intuitive digital experience. You get a new rendition of MBUX, which includes Google Maps navigation with Google's Gemini AI-enhanced search capabilities. MBUX, represented by an MB star in the upper right corner, also wants to be your digital friend. The CLA is equipped with a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance features, enhancing safety and convenience.

The CLA will be the first Mercedes-Benz car to use an 800-volt architecture, which allows for charging speeds up to 320 kW. For the European markets, the CLA will be available with a 85.0-kWh battery pack and there will be over 260 bhp on offer. The battery will send power the rear wheels by way of a two-speed transmission (a Mercedes first)
The vehicle is expected to go on sale globally this year itself and it is likely to come to India in Q1 2026.
