The MG Majestor is all set to arrive in the full-size SUV segment to tale on the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian, and the like. Here's what we think would the pricing be on the new Majestor.
JSW MG Motor India is all set to introduce its next major offering in the country. The company is gearing up to launch the new MG Majestor SUV, which was first showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, last January, and is all set to arrive as a rival to the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tayron R-Line, and more. The new Majestor will be sold alongside the MG Gloster in the automaker’s lineup.
The MG Majestor is massive with its length spanning over five metres long. The SUV sports split headlamps with the LED DRLs integrated into the grille as well. It gets a flat bonnet and a chunky bumper, while the profile sports pronounced wheel arches to accommodate the large wheels. The profile retains the boxy proportions, while the rear gets connected lights, along with twin exhaust tips. The rather large ‘Morris Garages’ rests just under the rear windscreen.
MG is yet to reveal the interior of the new Majestor. Expect the SUV to remain identical to the versions sold overseas. Globally, the MG Majestor comes equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver’s display, three-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and more.

Powering the upcoming MG Majestor is likely the 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine that’s expected to produce around 213 bhp and 478 Nm of peak torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Power will go to all four wheels via the 4x4 system offered as standard on the SUV, while it will also get terrain modes. This is the same unit that currently powers the Gloster.
There’s no word on the pricing yet but the Majestor is expected to arrive at a premium positioning over the Gloster in MG Motor India’s lineup. The MG Gloster is currently priced between ₹38.33 lakh and ₹43.16 lakh. Expect prices for the new Majestor to start around ₹47 lakh, creating a demarcation between both models.
