MG Motor India Partners With Zeon For EV Charging Infrastructure

MG Motor India has signed a memorandum of association (MoU) with Zeon Electric to boost its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. This is the sixth partnership for MG with a charge point operator. 

With this new partnership, users can find Zeon charging stations in the MyMG app which can also be seen on the iSmart infotainment touchscreens. Zeon has a network of more than 300 AC and DC chargers, which will be added to MG’s network of 12,000 chargers. MG and Zeon’s partnership will help increase charging locations and chargers will be available along highways, cities and MG dealerships in Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and more. MG also said that MG customers will receive exclusive benefits for using Zeon chargers.

MG Motor India has only two EVs in its portfolio – the ZS EV and the Comet. The former is priced between ₹23.38 lakh and ₹26 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Comet, on the other hand, is priced between ₹7.98 lakh and ₹9.98 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
