JSW MG Motor India has announced that it will reveal the prices for its upcoming Windsor EV on September 11, 2024. This model, essentially a rebadged version of the Wuling Cloud EV, marks MG’s third electric vehicle entry in the Indian market.
The 2024 Windsor EV is expected to bring a range of modern features and design elements. Exterior highlights include LED light bars running across the front and rear, a vertically stacked headlamp cluster with projector headlights, a charging port located on the left front fender, bold alloy wheels, an integrated rear spoiler, and flush-fitting door handles.
The Windsor EV will feature a two-spoke, multifunction steering wheel, panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting. The rear seats, described as aero-lounge seats, offer a 135-degree recline for added comfort. The cabin is finished with black upholstery to provide a premium feel.
Globally, the Windsor EV has two battery options: a 50.6kWh unit with a claimed range of 460km and a 37.9kWh unit offering a 360km range. It is yet to be confirmed which battery configurations will be available in the Indian market.
Once launched, the MG Windsor EV will compete directly with Mahindra XUV400, Tata Nexon EV and lower variants of the Tata Curvv.ev.
