Minda Corporation, an Indian automotive component manufacturer, has formed a joint venture with Japan-based Toyodenso to produce advanced automotive switches for the Indian market.

A new facility will be established in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, with operations expected to start in the second half of the 2026–27 financial year.
The partnership has already secured orders from Indian customers, signalling strong market potential.
This collaboration is claimed to combine Toyodenso’s engineering and technological expertise with Minda Corporation’s robust local manufacturing capabilities and supply chain network.
The venture aligns with India’s push for localised production. it is poised to strengthen the country's automotive ecosystem by delivering high-quality, locally produced components.
