Mini Cooper S Victory Edition gets cosmetic enhancements over the standard model but functionally remains identical.
Mini has launched a new special edition model of the Cooper S called the Victory Edition in India at a price of ₹57.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Offered as a completely built-up unit (CBU) in India, the Cooper S Victory Edition is an ode to the iconic 1965 Monte Carlo Rally winning Mini Cooper S.
According to Mini, the Cooper S Victory Edition will be offered in limited numbers in India, though it has not revealed how many units of this special edition are allocated for the market. This new limited edition Cooper S was displayed at a newly launched Mini showroom in Jaipur. Bookings for the Cooper S Victory Edition are currently underway across all Mini dealerships in the country while deliveries will commence immediately.
The Victory Edition is based on the Cooper S John Cooper Works Pack. This biggest visual highlight is the Chili Red paintwork that draws inspiration from the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally unit with a white stripe extending from the bonnet to the roof and rear accentuating the car’s sporty appeal. A white “52” graphic is featured on both sides of the vehicle, referencing the number worn by the original 1965 car.

The Cooper S Victory Edition features a gloss black front grille and Mini’s signature round headlamp clusters. Its roof, ORVMs, and A-, B-, and C-pillars are finished in black. The car sits on 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, set within wheel arches outlined by gloss black cladding.

It also comes with advanced assistance systems such as Cruise Control and Parking Assistant.

Powering the Mini Cooper S Victory Edition is a familiar 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that dishes out 201 bhp at 5,000–6,500 rpm and a peak torque of 300 Nm at 1450-4500 rpm. This engine is paired with a 7-speed dual clutch Steptronic automatic transmission. As for performance, the car can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.6 seconds and can clock a top speed of 242 kmph. Besides the power mill, the Cooper S Victory Edition also offers an adaptive suspension system for an exhilarating feel from behind the steering wheel.
